Greg Anderson has correctly said "Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it."The students of Grade 6 to 10, of The Maurya School, participated in several learning activities under the ISA project on the umbrella topic - 'Food: Fuel for life'.Through these activities the students were able to:
✓ Explain the nutritional value of food, food adulteration, food wastage and measures to curb it.
✓ Prepare a special diet plan as per individual requirements and different cuisines in India, Japan, USA and Italy.✓ Test adulterants in food samples, identify pathogenic microbes and their growth in food.Every good thing that happens in one's life, happens because something changes. In a nutshell, these activities brought about a positive change in the food choices of our children and would hopefully lead them to live a better and healthier life.
