Food : Fuel for Life

Greg Anderson has correctly said "Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it."

The students of Grade 6 to 10, of The Maurya School, participated in several learning activities under the ISA project on the umbrella topic - 'Food: Fuel for life'.
Through these activities the students were able to:

✓ Explain the nutritional value of food, food adulteration, food wastage and measures to curb it.

✓ Prepare a special diet plan as per individual requirements and different cuisines in India, Japan, USA and Italy.
✓ Test adulterants in food samples, identify pathogenic microbes and their growth in food.

Every good thing that happens in one's life, happens because something changes.
In a nutshell, these activities brought about a positive change in the food choices of our children and would hopefully lead them to live a better and healthier life.
